Right, some of you may or may not have heard of Game Fortress, He made the game The Curse of Kamaha, and is probably most popular for his work on Pokemon Twilight. He is hosting a competition on his forums (the forums I'm a mod on) and first place prize includes an editable of Pokemon Twilight. There are 3 top places, and 4 contestants so far. Submissions will remain open until July 18.The Contest:Members will be competing to create the best TCOK fan game. There are no hard rules except that it must be set on Kaumaha. The game can be a simple minigame or a full fledged platformer. Use your imagination, and enjoy! The Rules:1.) Participants must be registered at the GFF2.)Participants may form teams no larger than two members3.) Members may use either their own resources, or the sprites provided in the basic pack to be posted later. Members may not rip graphics from any commercial games. Pre made game engines are permitted if the game maker has permission from the author and credit is given.4.) Only one entry per member/team5.) Games must maintain an E rating (no blood or suggestive content)6.) All entries must be sent to a member of the GFF staff by July 187.) Entrants grant GF the right to use entries however the staff feels fit by entering(GF may add to this list at any time for any reason without notification)The Criteria:The GF staff will judge the entries (including moderators and tax collectors unless they have entered themselves. I *would* sign up…but that would mean I'd have to drastically improve TOPDOWN or start and finish a new game entirely before the eighteenth…which I'll be out of town for anyways. I'm going to be gone for all of July. So, unfortunately, it looks like I won't be entering.
