Im torn between two games that i want to make, and i just dont know which one to choose. I either want to make Pone, read my previous blog for info, or a platformer game where you play as an assassin. And you well, assassinate people, pickpocket, sabatoge, and hopefully a lot of other things.
It will hopefully be realistic in the terms of it wont take you 8 stabs to kill someone. I know im being generic about both, because other than trying to figure out a seamless world system with the help of ultim8p00, im primarily in the planning stages. Which brings me to another thing, which is i'm afraid if i make Pone, it will be too similar to TU, and probably not as good. So my question to you guys is, which one would you rather play?
Which do you have most direction with? You don't want to be working on too many things because you'd end up just loosing focus
Like i said, im really in the planning stages of both, and i think that Pone would be a bit easier to develop, (tho certainly not easy), but i'm not sure a game that relied so heavily on sneak has been made, and im starting to lean towards assassins. Because why would anyone want to play Pone, when TU will prolly be better, have a similar gameplay style, and will release ferst?
And when i say a game that relied so heavily on sneak, i mean a gamemaker game.***
Work on the whim, and expect nothing to grow until you see it there before you
uhm the whim?
He means do one when you feel like it, then do the other when you feel like it. Eventually you will grow to like one.
lol thanks guys.
