<b>TWO Whole Different NEW Things</b>

Two new renders… I'm not quite sure what they are or what category they fit under but, whatever, here they are. (Normally I don't make hybrid renders but I just had to tweak these a little in GIMP.)

very cool…

I'm curious though, did you do any post process work on those after render time?

Also… I'm very interested in knowing if you use arrays in developing the form of your model(s)

They turn out lookin really cool.

I made the models in Cinema 4D using spline's molded together into interesting shapes with a phong tag for smoothing and a minor matrix extrude for a little extra detail. The difference in the really bright shiny and dull areas is because it's the most reflective material I could create and it's reflecting itself in the brighter areas.

After the models were finished, I uploaded them into GIMP and did some editing.

Hm. Yay, Phong Tag.. although i could've sworn it already applies one. Nothing like extra smoothness, though, i suppose.

And thank god for NURBS. I actually found out what that stood for. IT means "Nonuniform Rational B-Spline"

I found that out via Wikipedia.

Huh… I never knew that lol. And yeah, usually it does automatically attach a Phong tag.
