For those of you who don't know, I'm making a British WWII Mk. 14 Supermarine Spitfire in Cinama 4d. I finally have some images! Here are some stats so far:
- after making the front end and the rear end of the fuselage, i finally managed to fuse the two at the cockpit and cut out the actual cockpit hole. Making the cockpit more detailed will be my next goal.- I was watching the canucks play the LA Kings while doing this and everything just seemed to go right. The process I'm using is working much better than i thought it would. Plus we won 7-4.- So far this project, while being easier so far than other things i've attempted, has totalled to about eleven thousand polygons. much better than doing it all by hand like I've done with cars before, this process involves making splines and connecting them all.- Notice the most prominent mistakes. There are a whole bunch of physical errors that are visible because I haven't yet adjusted the splines. I'll fix it later. Here are two images:IMAGE ONEIMAGE TWO
Looks like it's coming along great. Can't wait to see the finished product. =)
