It could be. I have a plan for a game that might actually get far enough and pass my own expectations to the point that I'll feel comfortable releasing it here. Just maybe… It's a platform shooter. Loads of guns. But the main part is that the map is made up of blocks, and different blocks have different properties. Most of the game will involve a kinda puzzle-like element involving the terrain and your own special ability to destroy certain pieces which, in turn, causes other things to happen. But aside from a really basic engine with few guns and few different kinds of blocks, those are all just ideas for the future.
In other news: I'm completely addicted to Knights of the Old Republic 2. I just can't stop playing it. It's annoying. Force Storm = best force power ever - aside from the good ol' mind trick. I'm curious to know if anyone here has heard of or tried the GMod (Garry's Mod) for Half-Life 2…? Because I have and it rules. If you have, let me know.
I only have KOTOR 1 =(
Ive seen GMod in action, its awesome.KOTOR 2 is so much more fun to play than 1, which is why it's a real shame that it's obviosly very rushed.
I liked Bioware. Obsidian did a good job but still.
And with GMod, I managed to create a kind of… jet? Anyways, I got in and it actually flew across the map - too fast. I came to a painful demise, but still it worked. Kinda.I used to make maps and Lua scripts for GMod… never got that great, but some of them were cool.
GMod is awesome - v10 is out soon, by the way [=)].Haha, you finally blogged.
I have it… kinda *cough cough*
