I has it. And no, even though failplanet says the beta is open, it's not. I think they ran out of keys.

Anyway, beta is awesome, but it's not the stuff we've been seeing in videos, but that's probably because it's multiplayer. I'm running 1280x1024 with 8x AA and every option on high and it's running real smooth, maybe the motion blur has something to do with it, because the framerate certainly isn't eye-boggling. Anyway, I shouldn't say more, I wouldn't want to break the NDA, now would I? And it looks way more epic than Halo 3 and Bioshock put together.

Other than that, new crytek intro is balls, you can see it in the videos, it sucks. So does the EA one.

Power Struggle isn't as revolutionary as it's supposed to be, It's more like Counter-Strike, kill people, capture stuff, earn credits, buy stuff, ad infinitum. But it is awesome, I must admit. Punching people with the strength/cloak mode on is especially satisfying. I reckon someone could mod a good RTS-like game with sandbox2 and the power struggle features. The nuke blast, especially at point-blank (I've seen that first hand) range, is awesome.

I think I'll reserve my thoughts for the retail version. Oops, too late.
