YEAH! It's nearly the end of the school term. Oh, and it's the 6th of the 6th 06 here in Australia. I don't believe in any of that crap though.
And the recent activity bar is sexist. I checked it! I tested it (don't ask, and no)! It should say 'on their' instead of 'on his'.For science, I have to make a parachute that goes down really slow and can drop from a height and stop a hard-boiled egg from smashing. I was thinking something like a plastic bag (big one) for the chute and a foam shell for protecting the egg. Any ideas on making this better? It has to be really slow on going down.
How about little fans trying to blow it upwards? That would slow it down :D. Other than that, your current idea seems ok, I'd just go with that.
Make sure you have a hole in the top of the bag to let some air out, so it falls straight instead of side to side
ooh! I did that assignment too. Its one of those NSW thingies. The best way we found to do it was to give the egg a "rollcage" as it were - except we could only use like 5 sheets of newspaper and sticky tape to make it. We made an outer shell, then lined it with rolled newspaper so that when it hit the ground, the egg had a soft cushion. Obviously we added a parachute too, but it didn't work all that well… It didn't esplode though [^^] and yes, the bar should say "their page", or it could be based on the gender in the preferences, with "their" being for no comment.
I tried the gender preferences to, but Melee *told* me (when Melee tells you something, it usually isn't… that dependable) that it based it off the gender prefs. I tested it with the gender prefs changed, hence "don't ask, and no"
NSW? But I live in Victoria… not New South Wales.I had to do that egg thing too. Only, we dropped it from 20 feet and could only use matches to protect it. Som actually survived. One caught fire.
