REZMS, Computer specs AND other stuffs

Posted by Firebird on July 29, 2006, 11:22 p.m.

Hey! Welcome to (yet) another one of my blogs! You will be assimilated!

Anyway, "What's REZMS?", you may ask. It's what many people have been asking me. No, it's not the secret project. It's for Rezilla. It's a CMS. currently it supports posting, editing, deleting, multiple users and categories. I just have to fix a few bugs, and then Rezilla can use it.

Time for computer specs! Although this probably wont be my new computer's specs, but it sure is sweet.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 +4800

2GB RAM (Yay!)

nVidia GeForce 7950 GX2

Ageia PhysX Card (Maybe… but this might be just a quick money making scheme. From what I've heard, with quad-cores on the way, this might be obsolete)

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi

Logitech G15 Gaming keyboard

Logitech G7 Gaming mouse

OS: Dual-boot with Windows Vista (if it's out… if not, then XP) and Fedora Core.

Other stuffs!

What's your favourite band right now?

Mine's Pearl Jam or Tool.

What game do you play the most outside og GM, and what do you like to do when playing?

I play a lot of Deus Ex and I like to eat pizza when playing it.

POLL:

Do you think the mods of 64Digits are lazy?

1. Hells yes!

2. Lazy? What does lazy mean?

3. They code random shit and pass them off as features.

4. I like giant cookies!

5. Melee is the only lazy one!

6. The mods aren't lazy. *cough*

Keep L337,

Firebird out!

Your new comp sounds awesome! Better than mine anyhoo. I might be getting a laptop soon though, so there's not much point upgrading right now =/

Sounds like you've improved REZMS since you last told me about it, sounds good!

PS: Hope the secret project's going well too ;)

player 1, if I'm not mistaken, there's no such CPU called FX-62. There's FX-60, but not FX-62. Anyways, Alienware sucks now… Why? They belong to Dell. And lately, Dell laptops have literally, been bursting into flames. GOod computer though.

My Poll answer: 1)

My favourite bands: Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Rammstein, Old Man's Child, Slayer, Testament, System of a Down, Dragonforce… And let's just say… I could go on for quite a while.

No way in hell that's a money making scheme. If games start utilizing it, it'll be very useful. Four cores would not make a PPU obsolete. Multiple cores aren't even really suited for gaming.

By the way, Logitech sucks for gaming keyboards and mice (even though they're nice). The best brand for gaming mice would be Razor, and for gaming keyboards, it'd be Saitek (they make the sweetest stuff).

Anyways, my computer specs are:

CPU: AMD Sempron 64 2600+ (AMD makes the best CPUs!)

RAM: 1GB

VRAM: 64MB (If I do decide that I want to play Halo PC enough, I'll probably get a 256MB, but nothing more)

Audio: 5.1 channel (I want the Creative X-Fi Platinum so bad)

HDDs: I believe they're SATA, I don't remember, but I have two 80GB hard drives, and plan on getting an additional 300GB one.

Yeah, I suppose it isn't. One more core would only make games faster (and, of course, physics based programs). But the only games I know that support this card right now, are GRAW and something else.

Not THOSE Logitech keyboard/mice. I'll take a look into those other things though. Have you heard of the zboard?

Nice computer =P.
