In a world of perfect order, terror is king.

Okay, IT sucks balls now. Seriously.

At my school, the rest of the class isn't really up to advanced computing yet (not boasting or anything, but… yeah). Well it's not expected of them. Anyway, at my old school, everyone knew how to copy and paste.

Do you think that my class knows that?

"Hell yes!" I hear you say. Not so. Since right click is disabled (Haven't gotten around to enabling it yet on my profile), they don't know how to copy or paste. I hear excuses fly through the air, "Oh, but I couldn't do the work because I don't know how to copy!". I'm not really known for being a computer enthusiast over there, but one of the people wisens up and asks someone.

"Do you know how to copy pictures?"

"Yeah."

"HOW???!?!!!?!"

"Control C, dumbass."

"SHUT UP", etc.

See? My IT class sucks bad. My latest project? Putting together a PowerPoint slideshow about camp… WITH music. The IT teacher dosen't know how to put music in… so I told him… and yeah. By the way, he writes 'kb' as 'km', so you can't really expect a lot from him. Hmmm, what else?

Oh yeah, we made something in paint (When they had Corel things and Adobe Illustrator on the machines), learnt the advanced (make text BOLD!) features of word, and made a couple of things in PowerPoint. Apparently my classmates haven't heard of custom animation, because their slideshows had 200+ slides in them. Mine had about 5.

Anything else to rant about IT? Oh yeah, the computers suck balls. No CD drive, a screwed up floppy drive in every one of them (Yes, every one of them) and they're super-slow to log on. It takes about 5 minutes to log on… Yesshk.

Okay, I'm finished for now.

you want more content? ALRIGHT THEN.

LiCMS and LiP v1 (FPN v7) is nearly up. Only one error left to exterminate, ugh.

I just discovered I had a penguin toy from a long time ago called Tux. No /dev/null for you!

HIGH SPEED PENGUINS!

I am *finally* getting a camera (yes, a digital one).

I'm going rafting on Friday. On rapids. I wouldn't call it white-water rafting though, because the rapids suck. Falling out will be the most exciting thing.

I've been obsessed with hourglasses for the past week. Don't ask why.

And… yeah. That's it.

Keep L337,

Firebird out!

Who killed melee-master?

1. Kenon, with a flail as his weapon.

2. theman, with GML.

3. A piece of cheese, with holes.

4. fprefect111, armed with numbers.

5. A bowl of noodles… with chopsticks.

You people are lucky to even to have a computer class, I have 0 computer classes. They even have a class for advanced photoshop work, but can I take it? No. I can't even take the basic one because its full. Why can't highschools have classes for computer programming? Not even the $11,000 per year private school here has computer programming classes >:(

There is a 'computer' camp up in boston, its supposed to have tons of classes for programming, disigning, graphics, and anything else you can think of, so I go on to their website to find what? Pictures of happy little kids playing football and a little kid on an ancient Compaq desktop. >_< Those things and the class about playing X-Box. How stupid is that?

There are websites about books with excerpts of the books that are supposed to be 'impossible to copy'. All it does is through a message up when you right-click. So I Contol+C'd it. but thats irrelevent.

xD that sounds like fun. I have figured out ways fto get into the school's network with my laptop, so i dont have to worry about any long bootup times. I just simply use the windows network commands and im fine. Also the time when my friend from robotics club hacked the entire system to boot up linux was funny.

There is a very good programming class at our school for more advanced computer users… except they only teach JAVA there. But because the syntax of JAVA and C are very similar, i am hoping to actually learn something instead of teaching it. Its an AP course so there is college material in there… so that sounded good.

An IT class where the call 'advanced' bold text?! wow does your teacher at least know what IT means? I remember taking a CAD class last year, where nobody knew how to use the software. I had actually investigated autoCAD before going into the class, and was therefore able to complete 2 years worth of CAD work in a matter of weeks. Yes thats right, i had completed all of the assignmesnts so my teacher actually gave me work from the next year of CAD. Thats why im not taking it this year =)
