Ultimate Cage Match!

Posted by FredFredrickson on June 11, 2006, 2:07 p.m.

This blog will be short and sweet, I promise! here's the low-down on my current projects:

Evolites: Needs sounds and quick tutorial, otherwise, finished

Reflect Games / Account System: Working on registration page

And the biggest piece of news I have right now - Hover Tank 3D has made it into the Ultimate cagematch at the GMC! Check that out here, and if you enjoyed the game, please vote for it!

Anyway, I'm going to get back to work on the Reflect Games Website. You can check it out - it's a work in progress - here. I hope to have both this site and Evolites released sometime within the next week, so be on the lookout!

Looks like youre in the lead by 2 votes. 1 isnt mine because I really couldnt play your game, it ran way too slow for me.

Why the hell is Jumper even in it? I thought it was the most boring platformer ever and made me hate most platformers made with GM.

I ratehr liked Jumper, but Hover Tank 3D was just too good, I mean, it has gravity, shooting AND it's 3D! And it seems like you're just ahead of Jumper just barely…. Vote for Hover Tank EVERYONE!!!!

wtf? jumper is in it??

oh well, i voted, but i thought that even though the effort and outcome are amazing, i had more fun with castle of the elite, now, voting for 2 games at once would have been cool, and i would have voted for yours with castle of the elite…

***takua108 votes for HT3D***

Omfgzorz, you're beating Jumper. Consider yourself a god now.

Hehe, thanks for the votes guys!

I think Jumper was alright and i respect the work that went into it, but I was never particularly impressed with it. Making levels obscenely hard is just not in my philosophy of making games.

I think a game should take a while to complete because it has lots of content, and lots of different things to do… and not because it's impossibly hard and frustrating.
