Whoa, 1000 hits! Thanks for reading my blog everyone!
I wanted to report my status on my online drawing game, the game formerly known as Ink Link. Due to a game already being named Ink Link, I have now renamed it "Linked," and I am very happy with how it is progressing!Currently the game supports up to 8 players, and has a single player mode for creating your own masterpieces, as well as a server list that is about 80% finished (working with the Reflect Account System!). I've still got to code in a basic chat and some host controls, but overall the underlying system is nearing completion. I want to release a beta for people to try, but I think I'm going to just wait until it's finished, which shouldn't be too, too much longer. For those of you who just have to see something, here's a pic of the title screen, in all it's inky glory:<img src="http://64digits.com/users/FredFredrickson/link_title.jpg">Anyway, I'll be checking abck in soon to update again, but for now, better get to practicing those drawing skills!Ink Link Renamed, and coming along nicely!

Pretty cool looking and what wold the online be like?
Looks good. Is this going to be like iSketch, or is it just a way to show off to people online?
The online will allow you and whoever else joins to draw on the same surface, for showing off, playing a game you make up, etc, etc. You could just use is as a chatroom where people sketch while they talk if you want… it will be pretty open.
I love ink link! Sounds great keep us posted!
Incredible. I wish you would tutor me in GML, I could stand to learn some advanced stuff.
Look's awesome. The title screen looks professional as your all games do =)
8 players ? Wow..looks rather interesting Fred :)
Correction. Looks VERY insteresting Fred :D
Thats a pretty awesome idea. Based on that title screen, the drawing system is excellent.
The background of the title screen is actually animated, with each of the colors swirling aroundand sinking into the distance. If it were faster, it would look like a WMP or Winamp visualization!
I haven't been able to test the game with 8 players yet, but I have with up to 3 so far, and it seems to run just fine. We'll see how things get as I am able to test it more. Thanks for the comments everyone, I will keep you posted as I develop this further!
