Just wanted to make a quick note, Aster Blaster HS has been updated to include a near finished classic mode and an actual title screen:
Check it out, and please let me know what you think! I have a few questions on the actual description that should be considered as well, but you don't have to answer that if you don't want to. The link to the game is here. Thanks!
Looks incredible, the transitions between levels is absolutly breathtaking. I wasn't able to see what version you had posted prior to this one, but I can tell it's coming along great. The sound is excellent, but could use some background music even though it's still in its developement stages. I'm curious though, whats senerio going to bring us when thats done? The game play is very smooth, especially with the transitions. Keep the good stuff coming.
DAMN! needs some music! the graphics and animation and the 3d is jaw dropping
I played the new version. My comments:
-Jaw droppig visuals. Brilliant!-I want some uber-mashing powerups! More chaos!-Something I forgot to tell last time. Windows has Sticky Keys (this has happened with 1 of my games). ie press Shift 5 times pulls up a nasty pop-up. I suggest changing the attack button.-Classic mode for me is still boring, because it is unoriginal. (Shooting asteroids forever… meh) I am looking forward to your scenario mode.Fred, you make us all look like nubs. -_-
*head explodes*
Yep, I wish I was a computer artist
Wow, that looks nice. It plays nice too. =]
Great games but now I have to get rid of sick keys XP
Yeah, i'll prolly change the controls in the next version… [:P]
Very stylish and visually impressive as usual. :) There is some slow down when the screen is full of the smallest version of the asteroids, but that might possibly be my graphics card (the CPU is reasonable, but my graphics card is a low end ATI throw-away job). Is the planet on the transition between levels meant to flicker on and off? If not, my graphics card (possibly) strikes again. :P Anyway, I thought it was fun, very impressive and enjoyed myself, but for me the ultimate version of Asteroids ever made was the arcade version of Blasteroids. :)
