This is not great news.
Well as some of you know or don't know, Guitar Hero 3 will be made by Never soft. The people who made Tony Hawk that like the punk musicSo if you like the music on Guitar Hero 1 & 2, You are out of luck all you'll get more punk and less rock. _________________________________________________________________ON A BRIGHTER NOTE.*Guitar hero 3 is coming out on the Wii and its going to have extra sensitivity and might be wireless. Metal and Alternative has so many hits. This makes songs from guitar hero easy to recognize. I suppose changing it to punk will slow down some ultra fast players and it will take longer to learn all the songs.
ALTHOUGH-Just because they are letting Neversoft take over, doesn't mean that there WILL be all punk music indoubtedly. Look at some of RareWare's games. They made GoldenEye 007, but they ALSO created Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo Kazooie.. point being, the typical skateboarding music IS punk. If you were making a skateboard game.. would you play the song "Raindrops keep falling on my head?" prolly not. Base the songs off of the type of game in the making.and Joey Melendrez is right about download thing.YEA i agree with joey and Tag

Any guitar hero game should have a variety of song genres to please a wide audience. Obviously most punk guitar is lacking in technical difficulty, so I doubt they would ever just include that and nothing else.

I've PLAYED Guitar Hero 1 and 2 a couple of times and I've also played DDR a couple of time but the only thing bad about DDR is its difficulty, the first time I plyed it I wasn't sure where the arrows were. Thats all I have to say…
