Some of you may or may not know that I have been hosting a contest at my forum/website (www.thegamefortress.com for those who are interested) themed around my game, The Curse of Kaumaha. Considering that this is about the year anniversary of TCOK's intital creation, I have been thinking about starting the sequel. Naturally, other projects like Blackwater have the front stage, but TCOK is nothing near the calibur of an underwater RPG, and considering the popularity of the first game…. Anyway, I started the prototype for the sequel. I like what I am seeing. (below is a screenshot from the new game, along side the old one. I wanted to show off the graphical improvment)

The next edition will have alot of new mechanics introduced throughout the game to keep it interesting… I dont think variety will be a problem with the next generation. I think I have a great opportunity to fully expound on a concept I only roughly explored in the first game.
I never played the first 'TCOK' but i did see some screens and was impressed. The graphicsal improvements are uncanny and very decorative, the only thing is the 'straightend' water fall seems more boring then the original. Anyways, it also looks like you upped the resolution? did you? If so, good..i like big screen games [:D]. Also the graphics look professional to say the least. Good work, cant wait to see a tech demo(if you release one). <3
Looks cool. Hm that's about it.
Nice graphix [:O]
To tell you the truth, I don't see much a difference between the two pics!
I would also recommend changing the flashyou used for your contest so that the text is made into objects before you use it to link places… as it is now, you can be 1 pixel off, inthe middle of the text, and you won't be able to click on it.XD Dont worry, there IS quite a difference. You have to see it in motion to capture what has really changed I guess. As for the flash thing, I will fix that as soon as I can get to it, but that may be a while.
