Here is my daily progress screenshot.
<img src="http://64digits.com/users/Game%20Fortress/boom.gif">With that out of the way, on to business. On the 14th & 15th of July I will be running a booth at one of the local community celebrations. Naturally, my wares will be a number of games that I have withheld from the community for obvious reasons. The cost to produce a professional looking case for the games comes in at about 1$ each (for the label, cd, case, and cost of ink if you buy in bulk) and each game is going for 10$. To break even after subtracting the costs for booth space and product cost, I have to sell 10 copies. People at such events are always looser with their pocketbooks than usual, and I dont expect 10 copies to be a problem. If I dont sell out my stock I will just put them up in an ebay store.
*Drools(like the 5th time)
heh, fairly nice.
But flaming snakes are better >:|You manage to sell your games on eBay? Wow.
I havent sold them on Ebay yet, thats just my backup plan. I dont know if it will work XD
Oh, ok. All I can say is good luck. You definitely need a good reputation. My dad tried to sell some old Beatles vinyls and didn't get a single bid. The starting price was really low too. The problem was that he hadn't sold anything before, so he didn't have a good reputation.
perhaps, but with a product like that bidders could just get it from sombody with a higher rep. Nobody will find my game elsewhere. The trick will be getting it to be noticed at all
Good idea that would be a great way to make some money.
Nice. I'm going to try that sometime XD
PS: Will we get a screenshot for EVERY blog you post?I might stop soon just so I dont give away too much of whats in the works, but they are good for getting attention/comments
