My little adventure for selling my games was fairly sucessfull today. The morning started unfashionably early, but I had alot of work to do to prepare for my booth at our local 4th community celebration. I ended up only selling 2 out of the 4 I had originally planned, but thats okay because I did pretty good nonetheless. I dont want to get into the dollar figures, but I WILL say that so far it has been profitable by 50%, meaning I got twice as much money out as I put in. My city is really quite small so the whole thing was really just to get a good feel for how to run the show at a bigger event on July 14-15th. So far things are looking up, and here's the good news: GM games CAN sell if you present them right. (I should post pics of the game cases, they were pretty tight)
Anyway, I have also been thinking about a new idea too. Somtimes getting a new idea can be a thorn in my side because I get this itch… Like I cant stop thinking about the idea untill I do somthing on it. I really love the ideas I am already working on, and it sucks to have to choose between two things. I wont elaborate on my new idea, but I DO think it would suprise those who think they know my game making style. In conlusion, fun fun stuff.
Sweet so you made around 200 dollars because m pretty sure you said you spent somewhere around 100 dollars for the booth.
I wont say anything about the number value one way or another, so ive no response for that XP
lol yeah I wouldnt release how much money I made either. A 50% profit sounds really good though.
And I would like to see the cases =)might give me ideas for the games I am gonna be selling later this year.Oh and yeah, I hate getting new ideas I just cant help working on.Ok lol also I wil be sending you a complaint in a PM about a member on GFF.
Hehe, glad to see yet another member is finding out that selling Gm games can be, well, profitable. [;)]
