Model Painter, Wish List, and Humour

Posted by Gamer3D on Nov. 15, 2006, 7:33 p.m.

I've been working on my model painter project. Updates finished include: No limits on the vertical camera movement. The message look has improved. RELEASED as of 11/17/2006 (still in queue though)

Trackmania United is currently the next-to-top game on my wishlist. Top of the wishlist is Xpand Rally (About same in wanting as Trackmania United, but less cost). Third is Need for Speed Carbon. Big brother is planning to get me one of them for Christmas. I figure I should ask him to get Xpand Rally. Ok… I asked him.

Humour may have dangerous side effects. My jokes always leave me feeling funny.

"(Yes, I have PMed an admin or two)"

Bah, why the hell does this permission error keep occuring… This is the third occurence today.

I don't think you PMed me. You should have.

Anyways, I'll go fix it.

That's going to be a really helpful program. Release it soon!

Yeah, I tried the old version you posted. It's amazing, great job. Does it export/import models through the GM functions? It could prove very useful.

Gamer3D 18 years ago

It does not export models, and does not load more than 2 formats yet. Maybe I can add 3ds etc to make it more useful (as something other than a paint program).

I was looking at your game AAAI; I'd love to compare your pendulum script to mine - I'm always interested on how other people accomplish it - very few people manage it for some reason.

I did mine a couple of ways, but settled on calculating the angle moved by the distance, and using it. It's not perfect, but it is close enough for games.

I did something similar.
