[G3D] New P.C.

Posted by Gamer3D on Oct. 9, 2007, 2:36 p.m.

I got a new P.C.! Core 2 Duo, Geforce 8600 GTS. It's fast and fun. My main problem is that by leaving the old P.C., I can't use GM6.1 Registered. Eh. I'll have to pay for GM7 Pro sometime. Until then, I'll be unable to use nice GFX and DLLs in my games. Because of this, I'm going to work on a 2D, non-physics-based game.

Ideas:

  • Smash game (like Super Smash Brothers) - Easy to make engine, a bit hard for me to do the sprites.

  • Tactics game (like Hovendall tactics) - Slightly harder engine, easier GFX.

    Votes:

The votes (collected from people I know) stand as follows:

  • Smash game: 1

  • Tactics game: 0

As a thing for you to play with:

This includes a DLL, an executable, and a GM6 file.

No. My machine is XP, so I didn't downgrade to Vista.

    Good work!

I prefer ATi Cards, myself: I'll probably be putting an HD 2600XT 512mb in my new rig.
