=( I have way too many ideas for Game Maker. It's getting out of control. My "Game Maker Files" folder is overflowing. One moment I'm working on an FPS. The next I find myself in progress with a Sonic fangame. Then I start to develop a 3D Turret Engine. ( Screenies here and here. ) Next I'm doing a space shooter. Then I'm doing a platform game. AGH!!! I CAN'T HANDLE IT!!!
………Enough ranting about my problems. Let me show you what I'm currently working on. I've been learning about good graphics design from online tutorials (Here's a good one: link.), and I think I'm starting to get pretty good. =) Here's an example of my work. It's a sprite of a character I created a few years ago. To date, he remains nameless. I've been working at using techniques such as dithering, pre-drawing, etc.Wow. I wonder how long this blog will look when it's not in this small editing window. (Hint to admins, preview button ftw.) Anyway, that's pretty much it. I'm off! =D-Go Bologna

Brings back memories of the internet *sniff*Tip: Just Do It Properly.
I second PY
nice little "…"*3 trick to lengthen the blog. lol
I used to have the same problem with GM. Now I have the problem where I'll work on one thing for a month and then another but at a snails pace cause Im just to busy doing other things. It's a little ironic that you'd dither and pillow shade a picture at the same time.. Never pillow shade. And try anti-aliasing and choosing better colors. You should join Pixel Joint for more help.
Thanks for the tip, basil. I'll look into it.
After you're done getting all awesome at spriting, maybe you should redo that banner at the top. :P
I think so.
That happened to me before. Ill try different things, move from one to the next sometimes or just write down the ideas.
but then it goes back to "i need to finish one game so i can realease it". which isnt going as well as id like it to right now.
