Well, cancelled unless I can make another game fitting the theme in two days. The game I worked on off and on for almost a month is unfortunately cancelled, due to the fact that my Windows partition decided that it didn't want to boot anymore, and newer computers don't come with repair cds from most manufacturers (after research, I found out it wasn't just my computer, I'm assuming this is some shady crap that's somehow Microsoft's fault). So I'm currently stuck using Ubuntu full-time, and Unity has no Linux support. This also means that official support for my games on Windows is over. Forever. Even if my Windows 7 partition randomly decides it wants to play nice. If this is what is considered acceptable, I'm done with Microsoft's crap. I might remake the game on my own in Java, but there's no way I could get it done in two days. Even if Unity magically runs perfect in Wine (which I highly doubt, because I've never heard of any Unity users on Linux), I'm currently too depressed at this point to even bother.
tl;dr: I won't be participating, unfortunately. Or ever making another Windows supported game. Ever.Welp, My Spring Compo Just Might Be Cancelled

Why doesn't your windows partition want to boot? Does it give an error?
And if it can't boot, there's a good chance that you can still retrieve the files if it's only "that partition" that is having problems. There's a lot of pretty simple stuff that you can do to get your file back, and maybe even fix your windows. But first, what's the problem with booting in the partition? Thanks, I'll try that when it finishes downloading! But yeah, it won't boot and doesn't even get an error, just a blank screen. All my files are intact thankfully, the partition is just won't boot. If it does work, I can probably crank out the rest of the game.
…but I'm probably still going to go full on Linux at this point, I've just become beyond fed up with Microsoft lately…What were you doing when this happened, and how old is your pc?
Its fairly recent, about a year and a half old, and I was playing a Ludum Dare game, when I closed it out, I got a random BSoD, and then Windows wouldn't boot up afterwards.
Are you sure there wasn't something wrong with the game?
Fairly certain, no one else commented on having similar problems.
