It's Hockey Time

I just got back from one of the most exciting hockey games of the year. My team is tied for first with another team in our league, and tonight was the tie-breaking match. Both teams were pumped for the big game, and there is a big rivalry between our two teams. For the last month or so we have been so close together in the standing, with our team always slightly ahead. The funny thing is that at the start of the year , after my teams first game we were in fifth. And over our 15 games or so that we have played so far, we have improved so much as to become one of the best teams in the league. By the way I live in Canada, so hockey is one of our major

sports and we get really into the games. Well it turns out that one of my good friends is on the other team, and I'm always teasing him about how my teams better although they have the best player in the league. By the way, my friend is about 5 inches smaller than me and I'm only about 5'5". Also my friend who's on the other team (Matt) invited another one of my friends (Shane) to watch the game. Shane is a pretty good hockey player so, if my team won he would start laughing at my other friend a lot. Well we got to the arena, which is a new arena that has only been around for a year or two and we went into the dressing room. As were in the room the coach, (who's my dad) gets a call and it turns out that our best player (Braden) just twisted his ankle and won't be coming to the game. We start getting worried that we won't play as good because he isn't here. Well we change the lines up a little bit, and we decide that we will only play with two forwards. This will tire them out a lot so we might half to switch the lines around a bit while were playing the game.

Well I think I'll get to the game. The game started with the line before me going for the face-off. The game started with a lot of back and forth play. When the other shift was getting tired, my line headed onto the ice and immediately got onto the offense by charging the net. Our lines center got close and dug the puck into the net. But just after the puck went into the net the net came of it posts. The referee didn't count it as a goal and our team was outraged, and I hit one of there players. The game went on and late in the first period we scored the first goal. I kept up my pounding of the other team, by hitting and holding them back. Luckily I didn't get a penalty, as the referee didn't see my behavior. The game got going, and I don't remember everything but the other team scored two more goals to put them in the lead by 2-1. We started getting worried because our best player wasn't here. We scored 3 more goals which really agitated the other team. Just at the end of the third period the other team scored a goal putting them behind by only one goal. We held them back in the last minute, thus winning the game for use. The climatic game ended with a score of 4-3 and really pissed off my friend. My team is in the lead again.

School

Well today at school we had a buy-out, which would get us out of class to see a dance performance of the grade nine GIRLS. The girl I like was suppose to be in it, but I couldn't get a ticket anywhere. So I had to sit threw math class without seeing her in dance uniform, which is a really tight shirt and pants.By the way she is really hot.
