Star Wars: Empire at War
PC(Commercial) | Reviewed By: FewCarrot TopStar Wars: Empire at war is an RTS with a different aspect in mind. Instead of the traditional build everything on the map or scenario, you control the economy of planets then with the units you build advance to attack an enemy's planet. You first go through a space battle where you have to protect your ground troops and kill the enemy's space fleet. Then with the ground troops you protected you make a land attack against the enemy in an attempt to take control of the planet.Graphics: 8.5/10The Graphics in this game are quite well done because of the smaller amount of units you use so they made a camera mode where you could watch the fighting close up. This greatly improved the game by making you fell like your right in the fight.Music/Sound: 7.5/10The music in this game was pretty generic to star wars games because of its use in almost all of there games. But it is still good and fits the gameplay to a point.Gameplay: 8.5/10The gameplay was pretty well done for this game with the new aspect for the gameplay of building out of the battle then fighting on two fronts to take the planets. But some times the planet economy got repetitive or you didn't have enough funds to do everything.Replay Value: 9/10The replay value like in all RTS games is pretty high because of all the different maps and online games you can do, putting you up to a different opponent every time.Overall Value: 8.5/10Overall this game is very well done and will keep you entertained for periods of time. But if you get it I recommender also getting the expansion because then you get a lot more gameplay out of it.FewCarrot Top SoldatPC(Freeware) | Reviewed By: FewCarrot TopSoldat is a very fun online 2d shooter that has the fast paced action expected in a game like this. Instead of trying to mini-mod, I'll just sit back and relax. Isn't it fun following the rules?
Yes and what do you think of my reviews.
You might want to read the rules for blogging.
Specifically the content and amount of blogs per day rulesShut up, I'm just trying to show off my reviews. I know the blogging rules, but I was away for a week so I'm trying to catch up. I will stop making multiple blogs in one day.
I'm pretty sure noone really likes reading your review for fun. No offense.
1 blog per day, mate. Telling others off for reminding you of that is a good way to get a warn.
Don't get up, guys, I'll do it.
You don't need to "catch up" when you've missed a week of blogging, anyway. No one missed you so very much. Just put it all in one blog.I love not having reactivated my powers yet. I can be lazy.
Ok, I wont do it.
Either way, I'd love to play Soldat with you sometime. [:)]
