Football is at an end [FCT]

I just got back from my schools football banquet that states the end of this years football season. It was a good year where our team ended the season in the second round of the playoffs with a record of 4-4. I have some pictures of me in my football uniform I may put up later if I can get the time to take a picture of them with my web cam. Back to the banquet; it consisted of all the football players and some guests seated in our cafeteria. We got a meal and the coaches handed out awards to the senior and junior football players that earned them. I thought I was a shoe-in for one of the awards but the coaches saw it different, so I went home with just my pictures in hand. Well I sat with my friends, at the table closest to the food, seeing at one of my friends had a broken ankle and the other was our best offensive lineman. The dinner consisted of: garlic bread, scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes, roast beef, strips of steak, and lots and lots of gravy.

I stuffed myself with all the food I could eat, which about half of what my lineman friend ate I am sad to say. Then the awards came and my lineman friend won best offensive lineman, and the leadership award. My friend with the broken ankle won the best offensive player award. I won nothing although I should of won most improved. I was a little pissed; but I walked out with a smile on my face.

g2g parents calling, will add more later.By the way this is my first real blog in a long time.

Why do you call football soccer in America? Isn't American football played with your hands? That food sounds good though.

@ESA: Yes, American football is played with both hands and feet, actually. But don't ask us why we're different from other countries. Not our decision, see?

Also, this is the same thing as why we're probably the only country who doesn't use the metric system. <_<

I really only did describe the food, did I. Also I forgot to mention the ceaser salad.
