I made a nice looking pong game in about an hour, to show my teacher how much better gamemaker is than vb.All coding and resources are done by me except the sound for the ball hitting the paddle, which are aloud to be used anyway.I have tweaked this game to look good, and if there are any suggestions on any graphical things or bugs please comment.The gmc topic is: http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=368240

Pong = British word for a bad smell. That's pretty much how I feel about Pong clones these days.

Pong!Sorry, you can't beat plasma pong.When you say VB, you mean VB.NET, right?
But ya, VB is made for making forms and other simple things in my opinion, it just doesn't have any real strong points besides being basic. From what I saw it didn't even have a += system, but that might of been me thinking back to QB
