Those badges that read "All games rated 7 or higher… 8 or higher.. 9 or higher" I think are a little flawed. People who produce many many games are less likely to achieve one of those badges, because it just takes one bad apple 6.9 score to destroy the badge, which would in turn encourage the removal of what is not necessarily a bad game.
Switch it to be based on the average score of all games. Say, average scores of 9.5 or higher, 8.5 or higher, 7.5 or higher. A slight shift upwards for the average score requirement, to compensate for the easier attainability of the badges. But, in the end, IMO a much better system. So anyway, who here even submits GM games anymore? I know the front page hasn't been updated in a billion years, are new games even being accepted anymore, or is the site still screwy until someone grabs fsx as he makes one of his ultra-rare appearances?Suggestion that probably matters very little anymore

There are 16 items in the game queue, but only 8 are unique since there are many duplicate games in the queue. Game submission/acceptance does not work which is why the front page has not been updated in over 4 years.
Submitted games just appear as 404s, so I'm guessing it's a problem in the code that moves the files from the file manager to wherever game files go (http://64digits.com/games/####/), however I can't do anything about it.=|Get KaBob and force him to fix it.
i think you mean 4 months not for years lol
I used to have one of those badges. Now I do not.
*Shrugs*So in other words is 64D fubar?Read mah blog. It's pinned on the front page.
It shouldn't matter how many games you have. Sure, maybe it should only activate if you have 4 or more games or something, but if you release consistently good games, there should be no worry about the score badge.
well that's the idea, it shouldn't matter how many games you have, but under the current system, the more games you make the more likely you are to lose the badge. let's say you release 50 games rated 10/10 each, then release one with a 6.9 rating. right there you lost your badge, even though your average game rating is something like 9.9/10. that's not right.
extreme example i know, but it still holds, and my proposal would be an improvement (minor, but still an improvement, at barely any cost in terms of coding effort, since I would imagine the current code already checks the score of each game anyway)
