I found what appears to be a decent one of those 'earn points for free shit' type sites, apparently confirmed to work and not a total nightmare. Like, not one of those ones where you have to do stupid shit, jump through hoops and sign up for twenty trial credit card offers, just answer a simple daily poll and do other on-site shit. Also I haven't checked what the catch is, but I'm assuming ad revenue plus poll data (the polls are clearly commercial interests, and worth a ton of money to companies). Looks professional enough to not spam your email, but give an alt hotmail account or something if you're iffy about that. A lot of the features and ways to earn points are still closed as the site doesn't officially open for two days. But so far you get 2 for simply logging in every day, I got 2 for answering today's poll (site claims up to 10 for the poll question), 2 for each referral, and if you refer 20 people you get double points for everything.

Yes, getting free shit will take some time. But this site does not require the ridiculous shit other sites do. In other words, it doesn't suck. And consider that things like an Xbox 360 Elite runs at only 675 points. Games run at 100. And you can earn a pile of points upon signup by playing a little one-time mini game (I got 25 from it).
