It brought tears of joy to my eyes.Today, me and abacus decided to visit Bangkok's shopping district. It consisted of several HUGE malls that were in close proximity to each other. One of these malls was Pantip Plaza. It was big, even compared to other malls. And every available spot was taken up by a booth or shop that sold something that was related to computers or video games. Abacus' jaw would've fallen off of his face if it weren't for the skin connecting it to his skull. There was everything from the iPod clones and graphics cards to dirt cheap software and pre-builts and everything in between. We could've spent the entire day just walking around awestruck at the sheer magnitude of tech that was crammed into the building, but instead we went straight for the PS2 games. We finally found Okami, a game that we have been searching for ever since we arrived here. Abacus bought half of the Metal Gear Solid series, he was estatic to find the games he had been hoping to play for the last few months. I also bought about 200+ tracks of miscellaneous Asian music, everything from K-pop to J-Rock. All in all it was a very productive trip. We will probably return to Bangkok tommorow for another look at the wares. On a side note abacus managed to sit on a piece of dog crap, leaving him with a small shit stain that I laughed so hard at that it hurt my lungs.
*makes mental note to SO GO THERE*
*makes mental note to SO GO NOT THERE DUE TO A PHOBIA OF CROWDS AND ESCALATORS*
Did they have any giant death lasers laying around?(Also, I suggest people google Pantip Plaza. It didn't quite set in until I did that)I read Pantip Pizza at first. =(
That still sounds awesome, though.I didn't see any lying around, but that doesn't mean that they didn't have anything in those back rooms.
