Speaking of graphics, I've seen a so-called "next gen" game.
But honestly I am not too impressed.ClickI have no clue why developers are already making a next-gen game, and on top of that, it doesn't look very good and it uses 2d backdrops too much and it just looks horrible to me.
Hm, that one does look a bit flat. Still, beside the point, when the rest of it looks that good, they're demoing their renderer, not their streaming load engine. Consider that that's actually running in real time, at 60 frames per second, at real resolutions. And then look back at the sub-HD, little/no AA, 30fps "standard" the consoles output. That engine is being built for the near future, by the time games using it start emerging it'll be runnable on a single GPU.
I guess I'll have to just see some vids of it to be impressed.Rage is the only game on consoles I know that is at 60 fps and still manages to look incredible, but that's still not enough to make me purchase the game though lol.Its gameplay looks too clunky.

Those aren't 2D backdrops, by the way.Wait wut?
Are you sure that you're looking at the same thing as me?Look all way back to where it looks like washington DC, I think that's a 2d backdrop. o_0Hm, that one does look a bit flat. True.

Sorry, I meant the only game on consoles that looks good and has a high FPS. :P
