Well, I'm trying to pass some time, so I decided to post this, I'd be interested in hearing some of your favorite songs from some games.
10.Super Mario 64
I'd be interested in hearing some of your favorites. =D 9. Bioshock 8. Assassins Creed: Brotherhood 7. Uncharted 2 6. Metal Gear Solid 2 5. Gears of War 1 4. Gears of War 2 3. Halo Reach 2. Halo 3 1. Crysis 2
i swear JID, i got a rom of Super Mario 64 a week ago and i thought the water world just had the most amazing music of all. it just fit the feel of swimming so perfectly. it's so weird seeing that exact song lol.
the Tristram theme from Diablo has always been probably my favorite piece of music so seeing that is weird too.i used to love the music from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. the tempo change when this song starts is so epic.I also liked the Bob-omb battlefield song from that or w/e. In Super Mario Galazy 2, the world that has that song is just amazing.
Now that I think about it, almost every Sonic game has good music, up until after Sonic Adventure 2."Edit: Yeah, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 had good soundtracks. Also I think he was rating it based on quality of song, not nostalgia."
I hope you're not implying that metroid prime didn't have one of the best soundtracks ever written. because if you are your opinion is wrong and I'm legally entitled to cut out your tongue.Wasn't implying that. I loved Metroid Prime 1 and 2, and I think I might have to play through them again sometime soon.
Though, Metorid Prime 2 is near impossible on hard mode because boost ball guardian >:(@hel
You're right, the beginning is so fucking epic. I replayed that part three times.:O
Completely, forgot about that Mario water theme. It's so good!I love the halo 3 theme, it strings together so well, and I would often find myself staying at the menu, because the music was so nice to listen to.I also liked the night music from Halo 3: ODST. I thought it brilliantly encapsulated the serenity, loneliness, and theme of 'self reflection' the game had. The start of this song, when it would loop in-game is what I'm talking about:Beware of the original dubstep song
