So you finally are able to play TWE? cool.Also, trolling real players with flamethrowers and grenades won't be as easy. >:Oyayaya, I just procrastinated some work to play it for an hour :p
And yeah, it helped the AI are kinda predictable about going through doors…although I thought it was pretty good when 2 aliens teamed up on me…one came in through the door on my left, other one went through the door on the right D:also I've lost every battlegrounds game I've played so far lolYeah, TWE might not seem like much when you first play it, but once you get the hang of it, it can become kind of addicting.
lol, I dunno why so many people find this game so difficult. I even buffed up the assualt rifles, added the Halo-style overshield and balanced the AI damage.I hope you know that you can sprint by holding space and you can melee by tapping it. I dunno why, but many people don't know that when they first play.and about the AI being predictible, I'm always working on the AI. I even made them run away when their health is low, and I made them run to their closest teammate if there are only two of them left and one is too far away from another one.Also, I love when the AI does smart things by doing things like flanking sometimes. :>people are finding it difficult? but…how? O_o
I know I keep having the problem of running out of ammo (especially for the assault rifle, which is absolutely amazing to use now lol), but even then I have a k/d of over 8….Plus I noticed the turning speed messes my aim up a bit sometimes, but that seems like a good thing because it forces the player to avoid fighting too many enemies at once - tactical thinking wins out over Rambo emulation :Pand I was actually trying to figure out what the sprint button was in game, I knew there was a way to do it but kept trying to use shift XD(since that's the button usually used for adjusting character speed in FPS's and the like)The AI improvements are coming along nicely ..and come to think of it I did see that fleeing-if-health-is-low action at least a couple times - one alien sprinted past me without even trying to attack, and I wasn't able to shoot it because it ran through a door and the door closed behind it lollol…yeah, it made me sad when I reloaded the AK and lost 32 bullets :(
Could you do something where you make it so you can reload partially-full clips though? That would be useful. I noticed the cringe-thing, that was good too - plus the screen flashing all the way to red, and the hit marker that covers the side of the screen, plus the dirt that sprays on the screen when near airstrikes and such helped with making it disorienting (in a good way - it feels really weird saying that lol).oh, and also, the AK can get headshots, when you are about to kill them, and you are aiming at their head, their head will 'splode.(I'm pretty sure that you've already noticed this. :p)
That's also something new. I used to have it so headshots with the AK were random and really rare.and yeah, that does sound weird when you say that. it sounds like it shouldn't be a good thing. luls :pI have an odd urge to shoot windows that haven't been already shot at on TWE. I just noticed that lol.
Also, thinking about adding Confinement back to the list of maps when the public alpha is out. I love that map. It feels the most unique out of all of them, to me.I did not notice that the AK could do headshots actually, probably because I almost never put the cursor over enemies when shooting at them.. I knew the sniper could do headshots, but I hate using it because the turn speed is so slow XD
Maybe you should have a change log for this, there's so many new things to keep track of lolY u take out Confinement? :(and whenever I hear a bullet break a window in game, I feel a little happier inside…this scares me D:
