Where are you in this time of need? This site is overrun with fuckin PONIES.

Do not trust their lies. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR SOUL.

Sure they may look innocent and cute, but they were bred by satan himself.

If you love Adventure Time and/or want to keep your soul, join us, your fellow adventurers!

The land of Ooo depends on it.

We can't do this without you.

Love,

your friends from the land of Ooo.

In the episode "Susan Strong" Finn finds a buried city, inhabited by humans. Turns out they're just fish people though.

Also, they could all be mutants or the Land of Ooo could be something that Finn created in his mind trying to cope with the post-apocalypse.

Like, I mean, this entire time, Finn could be the last living thing on the entire planet and all those friends like Jake and the Land of Ooo itself could be somehing Finn just made up in his head. I mean, things do seem a bit too perfect. Does anyone else find it hard to believe that a nuclear fallout could create candy people? And that this one kid and his dog are always fighting villians and never are harmed? Seems like something from a child's imagination, right? So it all could just be in his imagination.

Well, it is a children's show after all. Can't be too depressing. :p

That would be too fucked up if Finn was the last living thing on Earth and all this shit was made up in his mind.

EDIT: I can't believe I'm making up theories to the story of a kid's show, lol.

Pendleton Ward talked about how he wanted things to be strange, but still make sense and be logical, which would suggest it's very real.

That guy makes me want to become an animator. Also, +1 for showing me that.

Also, what does the "Gender Swap" episodes have to do with anything? I never saw them, but are they significant to the story in any way, or were they just some random-as-hell episodes?

Also, also. Just to make things clear, I don't hate or dislike MLP in any way. I may not understand why people like it, but that doesn't mean I hate it.

I hope the blog didn't make some of you think that, I was jk. :(
It's all good, bro.

Alright, time for me to lay down some of my knowledge.

1. Adventure Time is set on post-apocalyptic Earth, yeah. In the S3 episode Memory of A Memory, we see a young Marceline playing among the remains of a war-torn neighborhood. An allusion to the "Great Mushroom War" is made in the S2 episode "Videomakers", and then there's all the schizo-tech and broken highways and frozen businessmen in that one episode in S1.

Magic was introduced to the land after the Great Mushroom War, and that explains a lot of the weird stuff that makes AT such an awesome show with such a great setting. The Land of Ooo and its subtly-hinted lore is probably my favourite thing about the show.

2. The genderswap episode was probably inspired by the Internet, one of the things that makes this a modern and current show. Spoiler:

Fionna and Cake's adventure turns out to be fanfiction written by Ice King.
