Metroid game for my DS

As some of you might know, I just bought a Nintendo DS. Since I'm a big fan of the metroid series, I want to buy at least Hunters, but also one of the older games for the Advance. The gameplay seems different to me, and I want a longer singleplayer then Hunters has, I heared that one was mainly multiplayer-oriented.

Anyway, which one is better, Fusion or Zero Mission?

I played both and there were both pretty good. I don't know which is better. Zero Mission is kinda like a remake of the original Metroid with some extra features added, if that helps you make your decision.

Hmmm, maybe… I never played the original one, so that would be cool.

fusion. definently fusion, it takes longer and it's pretty much alot cooler. and if u DO get hunters, post ur friend code for wi-fi when you do.

Not true. It's single player takes almost as long as Echoes to beat (took me somewhere over 25 hours). The multiplayer of Hunters is just an insane addition.

Between Fusion and Zero Mission, I'd pick Fusion.

I'd go Zero Mission. Fusion's too linear, and doesn't have the whole "You're awesome, so go do whatever." feel to it.

The chozo statues make Zero Mission linear, and are the same thing as Fusions ADAM computer. There is hardly a difference in terms of linearness.

On that note, ZM is more non-linear, but get both.

Also, about Mike430's comment, the original Metroid is included with the MZM game as well. It's unlockable.

MZM is over all harder as well.

I'd end up getting them all, but I liked fusion first.

Never mind, I found too many other cool games, so I'm just sticking with hunters. Money problems. :(

Yeah, that sucks. Well I'd say if you have to choose between overspending on something your not sure of and spending on the games you want, get the games you want and wait 'till the cash flow problems stop.
