Listening to: assorted songs by J. S. Bach.
Reading: T. S. Eliot poems.Playing: messhof's new game, Flywrench (so hard, but so good).Watching: still The Office, Season 2.Dreaming: about a fast-food restaurant chain that is attempting mind control. What News?I created a very, very lo-fi programmatic arrangement of Ludwig von Beethoven's song "Fur Elise". I like that song. Give it a listen? .xm version .mp3 version While we're on the topic of music… I have nothing else to say. Still frustrated.I'm thinking about making a new game. Maybe I should make a new game. We'll see. I still don't feel very motivated, but I have several ideas that I like. Whatever it is, it'll probably be some sort of arena shooter, since most of my ideas seem to lean in that direction. Here's a link to a pretty cool, pretty pointless independent exploration game, with very pixelly graphics and lots of strangeness:Standard BitsThat's all I can think of. Good day to you.
Ah how I do enjoy the crisper sound of modules. I'd have to agree, that FurElise is nice. And you're XM version is nicer than the MID version I found laying around(I've stopped listening to MIDs so much after my ears finally began to understand why so many dread them)
StdBits looks pretty interesting, but I found it fell too far away for me as an exploration game. Felt more like a thing where they show you random black blotches and ask what you seeAs for FlyWrench, I'm quite pleased with it. Though the way it requires you to memorize a few keystrokes makes it so that I start to get ahead of myself and click keys seconds before I need to. Oh well, keeps it challengingInspiration is stubborn, and the more you try to force it around the more it'll run away, and praps leave lies for you to untangleI've been feeling just about the same way lately. I thought I'd make a small game for Christmas, but it seems a little too late now.
