So I spent the last I dunno 3 days making a game and I've been trying to get feedback along the way, And as much as I did try it's apparently hard to get the attention of the folk over where I've been posting.
As for my game it's a top down shooter zombie apocalypse but it's also mostly 16 bit graphics as in sprite sizes of 16 x 16, anyway I got the coding and mechanics working on the first day on the second I added some features like a crowbar and extra ammo for the gun.And today I have been filling out the city I had to draw it Photoshop and put objects over the top of it in gamemaker.I previously tried making the city in tiles in gamemaker but apparently it can only handle so many tiles and the gamemaker program stopped working. So that was annoying.I have another game to go back to that I want to work on as well. I'm at the point with that game that motivation is hard to find, it's just a much more complicated game to work on.it's a sidescroller jetpack like game but I finished a version of it and wanted to make a story like game with interesting features.but theres a point in the game where you have to stand still and listen to text being read out and I did a basic job of making that work an now I'll have to go back and fix the coding for that, it's really bad for my motivation. On the up side and slightly off topic, I finished my Cert4 in graphic design recently and am half way through getting a diploma in Graphic Design. it's all logos and vector work a little fantasy imagery but not mainly.Well thanks for reading hope I'm not too boring. The game has been accepted here and nowif you want to play it http://www.64digits.com/games/index.php?cmd=view_game&id=5851
What game?
I submitted the game here earlier today but I haven't got a response back I could link the game here, I'll just check the rules first. There is nothing in the rules about linking.
Your game should appear sooner or later, unless you failed to upload game.
I'll play your game when it gets on this site. :)yeah i filled out the form and such I just don't know what happens next should my game be visible in my files or what?.
Submitted games don't end up in your file manager, your game will be up later it just had to be screened by a staff member first.
Sounds cool by the way, I'll leave a comment on it laterThere's a screening process where mods make sure games aren't malicious (viruses, trojans, stealing data, etc) and run properly. If a game crashes or freezes for a mod, it may not get approved.
Thanks for accepting my game. I didn't have to wait too long after all :)
