Tools of Opression

We're going on to our third snow day today, and I missed monday. I feel so special. I have this huge project coming up though, so this is cutting into the schooltime I'd use to get my idea approved by the teacher. I'll live.

I still don't really understand why so many people would care what happens to so many other people from day to day. To the point of reading a blog. But none the less I suppose it isn't too hard to keep… :P

In five minutes, while a friend of mine was waiting for it on MSN, I threw together a program that lets you adjust one value I made, so it seems, completely invulnerable to memory scanners. I'll put it right here, as soon as the uploader is back on line.

Speaking of which, this sorta thing caused a huge split in a big website I visit periodically. Kinda cool, you can lock your own topics there. But they are one giant community of game hackers. *gasp*

So I gave them my "Hackproof" program to work on, and… They still haven't gotten it. That's a good thing though. I'm fixing it up now for repost, a prettier looking version. ; )

In making said version, as I just discovered, GM cannot go less than -(number of colors). I'm sure most of you already knew that and that that makes me sound pretty stupid. :P After -16777216, GM refuses to subtract any more. I'm sure it's because you can only store so many bytes in a double; GM's storage. The other bytes are apparently for the decimal or something. So I guess it's more than a coincidence. But I'm sure someone must have to not have known that.

Looking around this place I see a lot of badges. . . . I love them and hate them at the same time. They have such fun shapes, and yet they're tools of opression. I like that, I reset it as my title. Ha! … Okay I'm done. But perhaps I need to make a game with badges… Nah I'd never finish.

A friend of mine called my coding scanner a decompiler; and I suppose it's like one but it's not evil. One person has a GM decompiler though. I'm sure plenty of you know who. It scares me, having all our codes wide open to him, but he won't do anything bad. He reported the whole it uses to Mark. So we're safe… for now. As for my scanner it does C# now, and soon C++, which I heard somewhere our operating system is almost completely made of.

That's all I have for now…

"It scares me, having all our codes wide open to him"

TONS of people give out there sources anyways.

Yes, but some people work on stuff they do not want others to have. Unique things. But that will be fixed in GM7.
