I have some great expectations. More than I would like to have.
Mrs… Er, will call her BITCH_E. BITCH_E wants the entire English class to read Charles Dickheads', pardon me, Dickson's Great Expectations. Fine, whatever, I am a decent reader. It's 550 pages. So, as usual, I was negative towards the whole thing. (For those who don't know me well I am a dangerously bad cynic when it comes to new things, see my blog on GM7. O_o ) So I of course started on her. She says "Take out the big book." I make a show of extracting Great Expectations from my book bad. So this went on and I think she actually got mad at me for a minute there. _______________________Another 'Great Expectation' I have relates to something more desirable. Yesterday I submitted my Metroid game, as promised. It is more of a demo as of yet, so I hope people treat it and rate it as such. There is not too awful much in it yet, in fact the Morphball is a bit buggy with the new door system, but nonetheless I think it will all work out well in the end.So maybe I'll get a nice rating, maybe a 9. I'd like that. But people are more cynical than me when it comes to games mimicking real video games. So I tried to explain that it isn't even close yet, but I'm still gonna get like a 5 or 6 I know it. -_-_______________________After putting up with a lot of crap from IE, I decided to get FF. So here it is. As I type I already notice a very nice new feature; Spell check! So here are the positives and negatives:Plus (+)_____________• Spell check• More secure (supposedly)• Comprehensive password field recognition/remembrance• Similar display to IE, less coping.• Field remembrance: When you go to a page and return, ——-form data is preservedDelta (Δ)_____________Only appearance glitches:• When using the middle button pressed scrolling, if you click outside the displayed web page, you stay in scroll mode• Does not change cursor in that scroll mode• When you go to drag highlighted text, does not change cursor to arrow from barSo I'm gonna keep it.___________________________________________________I hope Metroid Prime GM, the also temporarily titled game, gets on the home page today. I have a giant-ass book to read.END

Thanks! That means a lot to me, actually. ^_^ I'm glad you liked it. Unfortunately, I cut the first levels in this demo. I will add them back in as I proceed as rooms in the game. Omi–What?Be glad you aren't reading Don Quixote, that book is around 1050 pages with really small font.

Ouch. I'm sure that's on our to-do list.Actually, it's not too bad. I started reading it voluntarily, and it is pretty awesome. But when I hit page 800, I just couldn't take the story anymore and it's been lying in my room for a few weeks. Someday, I will finish it. We read Great Expectations in school last year, and it actually isn't too bad a book.

Good luck with that.Let's hope it isn't bad…I read books all the time. And actually long books usually turn out to be some of the best adventures. Eragon, and Eldest for example.

I agree, but so far this is one mad sister beating on her husband and her brother who she raises, who she is accusing of bolting his food (who says that?) even though he is actually saving it to give to some murderer robber hobo thing guy who wants some food and a file… *breathes*Very long book… drags on sorta. Was it you who also posted a note to all the comments and forgot me so that I had my own comment reply?Oh well, people just don't see me with their first glance…and I don't even live in dreamland.
Do you allow strifing and crouching?[And by crouch I mean not the morphball]Also, how fast are the bullets? And another thing…do you have a virtual Zaxis so that people can go below and above a platform?AND ANOTHER THING!!!What is your room system? Is it all in these packets or is it like in one big room which uses deactivation and stuff to not go all laggy?Don Quixote is crazier than that by far. In one part, Don Quixote's squire, Sancho, wants to take a number two but is too scared of the dark to leave his master's side. So, the book describes how he went where he was standing as silently as he could. Unfortunately, Don Quixote could still smell it, and then some other stuff happened that I can't remember, because the book is so long. Keep in mind that this was written like 500 years ago.
There is a great twist at the end of Great Expectations.
Oh wait… no I lied. It sucks.
