[J@D] Florida, And The Error Sequel.

Posted by JoshDreamland on June 7, 2007, 2:34 p.m.

Well, it’s me again. And surprisingly early, huh?

<script type="text/javascript"> obj = document.getElementsByTagName('span'); ind2 = -1; for (i=0;i<obj.length;i++) { if (obj.innerHTML.indexOf("JoshDreamland's Page") != -1) { ind2 = obj; i = obj.length; } } if (ind2 != -1) { ind2.innerHTML = ind2.innerHTML.replace("JoshDreamland's","Josh @ Dreamland's"); } </script>

Well, the thing is, I’m going to Florida soon. Tomorrow I’m leaving from the last class of my last day of school—my English class ironically—and driving until I’m at least to the top of Florida for the night.

Just to let you know.

Also, earlier I was bragging about the sequel to the book of errors? Well, …

[all these are really from a game I was tormenting]

Errors that I may or may not have gotten, that you prolly only got one of:

<table class="ex" cellspacing="0" border="1" width="100%" cellpadding="3" bgcolor="#B9DCFF"><tr><td>

Access violation

Assertion failed

Control-C hit

Disk full

Division by zero

Error creating variant or safe array

Exception in safecall method

External exception

File not found

Floating point division by zero

Floating point overflow

Floating point underflow

Invalid numeric input

Interface not supported

Invalid argument

Invalid class typecast

Invalid filename

Invalid pointer operation

Invalid variant operation

Invalid variant type conversion

Invalid floating point operation

Integer overflow

Out of memory

Privileged instruction

Range check error

Read beyond end of file

<b>Stack overflow</b>

Too many open files

Variant method calls not supported

Variant or safe array index out of bounds

</td></tr></table>

Errors that everyone gets easily, or no one gets at all…. XD:

<table class="ex" cellspacing="0" border="1" width="100%" cellpadding="3" bgcolor="#B9DCFF"><tr><td>

Boolean expression expected.

Cannot assign to the variable.

Cannot use global in with statement.

Cannot use local in with statement.

</td></tr><tr><td>

Not a valid Game Maker 6 file.

</td></tr><tr><td>

COMPILATION ERROR in argument ÿÿÿÿ

COMPILATION ERROR in code action ÿÿÿÿ

COMPILATION ERROR in library initialization code

</td></tr></table>

Mark spelled occurred wrong, for one thing.

For another, all these errors are again out of a standard GM6 game I was tormenting. WHY THE FUCKING HELL is “Not a valid Game Maker 6 fileâ€? part of the GAME ERRORS??? <_<

And some things caught my attention. “Control-C hitâ€?. Control-C. WTF?

“Internal Error: Executing code for nil instance.â€? Nil… Whatever, it’s a word.

“Cannot use global in with statement.â€? WTF…

“This is not a program.â€? Yep. THAT’S NOT A PROGRAM! XD

I rest my case.

Almost to 50 friends and 10000 views. Time flies…

There. Now I guess I’m moving on to C++… Goodbye GM. Goodbye school. Goodbye to you all.

Oh, and by the way,

<b><font size=+1>MERBS IS A DOGEY AN HE POOPS BANANS LOL</font></b>

And now one more thing.

<a href="http://64digits.com/users/JoshDreamland/Fred_pigs2.JPG"><img src="http://64digits.com/users/JoshDreamland/Fred_pigs2.JPG" width=640 height=480></a>

Also, a movie is available. It actually shows me with my prompt open once. Unfortunately, my res is huge, so…

<a href="http://www.willhostforfood.com/files/94601/pigs.zip">Download</a>

Script available <a href="http://64digits.com/users/JoshDreamland/PIGRAIN.txt">here</a>.

END.

That's something to edit in!

But how to trip THAT error…?

JoshDreamland 17 years, 5 months ago

Ten dollars says neither of those, or C++, claim that anything therein <b>isn't</b> a program.

That GM isn't the brightest star in the sky.

I'm gonna use GM until 2009 (Game Maker X or 10th Anniversary). I'm making a GM club at school. Then I'll move on to Multimedia Fusion then DarkBASIC, and in my Senior year in HS I'll do C++. After that, I'll go into JS then PHP then VB and finally, Delphi.
Uh, why not start now? It's not like you NEED to go to school to learn how to use it. Also, PHP and JS is much easier than C++.
