Turn Based Strategy AI (Like Advance Wars)
I am making one as my first true AI ever o.0So I have to figure out how to do this good.Thoughts: From simple to complex meh meh in no order wheeeAssess difference in strength to figure out what to build IE: no danger=save money, lots of danger=mass build etcBuild attack range array to figure out safe locations to move calculating damage that would be taken and stuffPut more importance on capturing enemy buildings than equally defended empty buildingsDamage given to taken ratio calculationGuard buildings if enemies nearbyUse weak units as fodder!Surround things needed to capture (defensive wall of units)100% damage way more important than 99.9%Figure out how to place ranged units for maximum defence (this may be hard)Dont attack if way outnumberedNEED HELPZ thinking of all AI situations
Wouldn't it be better if the enemy DEFENDED instead of mass building?
Like return to your base.Well defend+mass build
You cant defend well if your way outnumbered
