Scribblenauts Review:
Scribblenauts is awesome and well worth the $30 it costs. The title screen alone contains hours of gameplay (you can even unlock 14 extra title screens themes) and the puzzles themselves are interesting and fun. The only real flaw of the game is the controls, entering letters is easy enough because they give both keyboard and handwriting options, but having to move your character with the touch screen can make some more complicated tasks harder. Since everything but the camera is controlled by the touch screen, it can be become crowded if you spawn too many items in one small area. It can also be hard to walk or jump to a certain area because the camera moves but your stylus doesnt. Its not big enough of a problem to ruin the game though, it just becomes slightly annoying in certain situations. That said, if your goal in playing a game is just to beat the game then you might not have so much fun with the actual gameplay. The fun in Scribblenauts comes from doing things differently, rather then just beating the game. This is especially enforced from the idea of mastering a level by doing it 3 times in a row using different items. Personally, I found mastering the level to be more fun than just beating it and moving on to the next. All in all I would give the game a 9/10. I'm certain that if they ever release a Scribblenauts 2 it will be an 11/10.Websites:Both PycoForums and OrbScape are seeing a good amount of progress. Pokemon Twilight has started picking up momentum so I have been working on the Forums to prepare for the explosion in popularity that will happen after the next demo release. I also need to reprogram the php side of Game Plague, its becoming more and more outdated compared to the rest of the Pyco Network because it was programmed before I started using a global set of php files for things like sessions.Pokemon Twilight:I dunno if anyone here is a PT fan, but Game Fortress finally decided it was time to finish the next demo so it will hopefully be released before Halloween. Right now I'm adding the shiny pokemon sprites and tweaking the code that handles them.
Oh wow, PT again.
Are you guise going to start another topic? How many has there been anyway? You mean a topic on the GMC? I guess we might make one once the demo is released.
I forgot about that game. it doesn't seem like progress is made very often :/
