I recently took the time to find my old gmk for The Curse of Kaumaha: Eternal Plague. My contest demo that originally won me the Pokemon Twilight GMK. The gameplay kinda sucks, but all the old platforming ideas inspired me to work on Chi-Zu.

Chi-Zu was originally an idea I had for a series of games, unlike most of my game ideas this one was designed specifically to have many sequels. It never made it past the early tech demo stage though, due to some minor but annoying collision issues. I've gotten less annoyed at collisions recently though and now the glitches are gone.

Anyway, the basic premise of Chi-Zu is that you control a UFO which goes to various planets and abducts a ton of people. It's a sidescroller and should feature 6-8 planets per game (if i ever make sequels). So far it has no sounds/music and all the graphics are made by me, but maybe once I get farther into development I'll get some good stuff =p

The only reason I can imagine cancelling Chi-Zu would be if I have the same problem I had with Solar Security, which is lack of fun. Hopefully that won't be an issue, I just need to properly execute my ideas in the game. Whatever happens, I should at least reach the early demo stage sometime "soon."

My other currently unnamed game project is also making some progress, maybe this is a sign that I'm finally becoming motivated to finish games? It's a bit more complicated though, because it involves online play, a ton of level design, a level editer and some complex multiplayer lobby option stuff. It's also a gamble because at this point I have no idea if the multiplayer will be fun.

As far as my websites go, I've been doing a tiny bit of Pyco work and a decent amount of OrbScape work.

Normally I would just want to put all my ideas into one game and then never finish it =p
