My origin story

So it's time to tell the tale of how I came to be on 64digits. But it would be necessary to make a ton of retcons cause I can't really remember 4.5 years ago, so I'll just stick with what I know.

Anyway, looking at my original blogs it's likely that news of v2 coming out caught my attention and I registered because I needed a file manager. I think I had known about 64d for a while before registering, but I can't remember. My 2nd blog has to do with an issue I experienced while visiting 64digits in BCIS class, so this would be right around the time when I first started TIM (TZ Instant Messenger). I think I actally uploaded the latest version of TIM here a few years ago, but it sucks so I don't suggest downloading it. I believe my first avatar here was this weird alien thing I drew in paint:

At that time I was still known as bob799 and I think it was my early days of paying geocities to host tz-c.com so I wasn't really using PHP back then at all. It was also around then that I started work on "worldscape" which is now OrbScape. It actually became really popular because my school had blocked runescape.com but not the individual pages, so I just linked to all the worlds.

But yeah, theres not much else to say about me back then. I haven't deleted any blogs, but I wasn't as smart back then and I see no reason to list everything I was up to o.o

Eventually I noticed that some other weird people were using the name bob799 on random sites so I changed my name to KaBob799. I was tempted to just be KaBob, but I decided the numbers make searching for me a lot easier.

By then I had really learned PHP and was working on stuff like PycoForums. When 64d started having issues I constantly offered to help, but nobody really took me seriously =p Eventully 64d went through a ton of problems with host changes and everything breaking and PHP files getting deleted. When it looking like things might be over Arcalyth finally gave me the admin panel password and let me do whatever I want to fix the site up. So I made myself an admin and did a lot of work to make the site work again and everything else is recent history.

Right now I'm visiting 64digits a lot more than I have probably since the RPG. One thing is that I'm doing a lot of work on new features, but another is that the activity feed makes it a lot more addicting =p

In terms of blogs, I'm #13 if you order the list by most blogs. Not bad considering how many long breaks I've taken between blogs.

BTW: You can now lock games which have not been commented on for a week.

I remember putting Kabob in 64Brawl. That's the funny thing. He didn't do anything but jump around though.
