Basically since very early Thursday morning I've had this stomach virus, so I haven't been able to eat for 2 days now. Fortunately it makes it so I'm not hungry, but the other symptoms are annoying. I'm basically living off of Kool-aid now, but I think I should be able to eat in an hour or so.
Anyway, I was a junior and I'm about to be a senior. So many of my friends were seniors so now they've graduated and I don't see them much, so that kind of sucks. These past couple of months I've tried to stray away from video games and focus more on having a social life, and it's weird because ever since video games seem pretty boring to me with few exceptions. So, days like these where I can't hang out with friends kind of suck. The way I've thought has also changed these past couple months. I used to be really pessimistic and nothing much made me happy, but now I'm pretty optimistic (at least most of the time). Like now, I'm sick and bored and tired but all I really think about is how awesome having a diet of Kool-aid is and how I'm probably going to go to Cici's and eat until I explode once I'm better. Back in June I went to Washington, D.C. It was cool, but not worth the lengthy trip or time spent. The only thing to do at the hotel was play Conduit, and that wasn't that great because I really hate Wii FPS's. D.C. has really cool squirrels though, they're practically tame, I got about 4 inches away from one. Then, a couple weeks ago, I went on a mission trip (local) and that was a ton of fun, I met a lot of new people. Band camp started last week, the first week we had three-a-days, which is basically outside marching at 8-11:30, inside playing music 1-4:30, and back outside 7-9. Here in Texas, it's pretty much above 100 degrees every day so being outside isn't very pleasant, but after so much you actually get used to it. Also, ever since I became section leader, I get yelled at for pretty much everything I do. If I'm talking during practice and so are a couple people around me, I get yelled at, but they won't normally. It's very annoying. I'm pretty much bored of Minecraft now, especially since we can't keep a consistent style of server (creative, survival, whatever). Really, the only game I ever play is Team Fortress 2, so you should add me on Steam, I'm Kamira929. Sorry that this blog is kind of oddly fragmented, I have troubles concentrating because of being sick, and so some of the wording might be kind of weird.
L4D2 realism mode is ridiculous. I really only like teamworking with friends, it works best that way anyway and it doesn't put you at risk of being stuck with a jerk. Zombies mode in CoD also needs communication, that's probably the only time I'll ever pop Blackops back in my xbox.
I play lots of TF2 so add me.
I tend to play more seriously though, and I am on two admittedly low level highlander teams. @_@It says you don't exist, Colseed.
Also, Spoon, I'm no longer a free account so we can trade now :3Coolio, but I don't do much trading at all.
And yeah if you guys need any advice on TF2 for any class, just hit me up. I've got 6 classes at 100 hours and I'm really competent at the other 3. Kenon is a far better source for Pyro information though since he's one of the best pyros at the game.I don't think I need much advice, just practice. Today there was this guy that was getting headshots with the Huntsman like crazy, I was a scout and he still got me pretty much every time I crossed his path, it was ridiculous.
Ahhh TF2. Gotta get back into that sometime.
Forgot to mention, the background of my ipod is a squirrel from D.C. Also, I feel almost normal (even though I haven't eaten in 60 hours now) and it's raining here for the first time in a long, long time.
A TF2 match needs to be set up *looks at 64D Steam group admins with event-making powers*. Preferable before the end of the month, as I happen to be in the US and I'll get good ping if the game is set up in an American server.
Sounds good to me, though I have a busy schedule. So, I had a tiny bit of applesauce this morning just to test to see if I can handle food and it worked, so I broke my 62 hour period of starvation. I think I'll try to eat more soon.
