Anyways, so I've been inspired by a certain Super Meat Boy to resume 2d level editing. Most people are awestruck by its gameplay. Yeah, its great, but whats really amazing is the aesthetical focus of the backgrounds and the level design! Its so refined man, its crazy! And the thing is you can totally do it in less time!
This image is a great example: In the foreground, the obstacles were clear, and the background has enough detail such that when your eyes defocus you still have a thematic sense of the level, keeping your area.
There's also this, describing the thematic of it. It's VERY inspiring! Now I'm tired. See ya later.
