I can play online games without port forwarding now, that means, I will be trying to make an online game now, I am thinking of Making Halo: Lost Hope Online.
Yep, I have visions of it, with diferant game types like:Survival:Out kill the other players in one lifeSlaughter:Out kill the other playersVIP:Protect the selected player from the floodContainment:Stop the flood from reaching a certain point, these points will normally be on the edge of the maps, in some you may have to stop them from reaching an elevator or ship.Retrieval:Get to a certain point, and find the object they, then bring that object back to the shown point.There are many many more I have.There is object MAJOR thing I need to know.Should I make the different armor types have different functions?Ones like:Type 1:Fire Speed+0Reload Speed+0Special:Can hold more ammoType2:Fire Speed-2Reload Speed-2Special:Can active Active Camo for 15 seconds, recharge is 30 seconds.Now, these effects would only take effect when in games like, Containment, VIP, ect. ones where you are not "facing" other players.Well, that was my longest blog ever! YAY!
That'd be really cool if you did something like that. It'd also be really hard if you were going for a good online game.
