Scary Enough?

Well, I decided I"m going to have a go at this halloween game thing, so I started designing one of the monsters I want to have in the game. I've never done a scary/horror game before, so this is going to be fun.

Does this guy look like he'd be in a horror game?

EDIT:

How about now?

lol, I'd be kinda scared more if I could tell what the fuck it was, no offense.

I wish I could tell you what it was, but I have no idea yet myself. lol

Some sort of monster I guess?

It's facing right by the way.

Looks kinda like one of those little stickers you find in the grass, but huge and animated and fat. O_o

it would be awesome to see it in action, though. Rough sketches are never quite as cool as the real thing. :)

Maybe if you manage to give the game a dark and creepy atmosphere it'd be better. So, yeah, I agree with Pounce, it'd probably look better in action.

Made it into a little scene. How about now?

that actually looks really good, looking forward to your game.

I know that you're always really good with graphics, so your game will definately look pretty sexy. :D

Thanks. :D

I'm thinking of making it a top down shooter. What do you think?

No. Do NOT do it.

Stick with Platformer. I have a feeling it won't restrict you creatively as much, andI think the art style you're going for will be much better as a platformer.

Plus, you already have platform game making experience, Time War is your proof.
