I just (for now) finished with a style and layout I'm satisfied with for my site. Take a look:
LARGames.comIf you don't want to visit my site for whatever reason, here's an image:I'm not gonna force you to give me pageviews. It'd be nice to have them though. :DAlthough if you want to see the changes I make later, it's probably best to just visit the site. lolSo, what do you guys think? I know there's plenty of design people around here, so it'd be nice to hear some comments/ criticism about the design. Now I just need content. :P
By the way, this was my site in 2007. :/

Also, where's all your content you used to haveTiny bit more space on top for the title, have the rounded corners a little more consistent, moar pictures. That would be nice. It's a clean visual style, but I feel there needs to be margins, for the web page itself, and in between the sidebar and the main content.
Also, the main content, when displayed with full width on my display, is very wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide. I know you want to fill all the space on the page, but wide lines of text are very uncomfortable to read, it shouldn't really be wider than an A4 page. For instance, if you go to Steven's blog on 64d, that's pretty much optimum wideness.@Alert
The corners actually are consistent. The rounded corners are the corners that won't look horrible when the content changes the shape of the pages. The ones without rounded corners are the ones that are meant to be changing a lot. Believe me when I say it looks really bad when I tried to round everything. :PAs for all the content I used to have, It's gone along with the last free host I had. That's why I actually bought hosting this time. I don't want to lose it all again. :(@ToastHmm I never thought about huge displays before. :/ I changed some things. I hope it's better now. The thing is, I use percentages a lot for size things in my site designs, mainly because I was always concerned with how things would look like on smaller screens. I guess this way has it's ups and downs. Anyway, is it better now?Yep, that's fixed my main concern, it looks great now. I think my resolution is the typical 1080, btw.
I don't really know why I never thought about displays larger than mine before. Mine's 900p I think. 1600x900.
@LAR: Like why not keep the corners how they are for the nav, but for the content you might as well use all sharp corners. The right rounded ones are too round and are distracting to me lol.
