TOPH, TOPH, TOPH!I never know what I want to write on these blog posts since I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen the episodes, but I really want to talk about the episodes. :/This was another great one, and it went pretty much how everyone expected it was going to go. Including miss Hitler being Hitlery.
gotta say, i had my doubts about whether if kuvira would be a great final villain or not, but this episode removed all doubt. i have a strong feeling she might be a much better villain than zaheer, who - imo was my favorite one of the show.
and the TWINS, the twins are back. i was just wondering when they'd show up this season.. great to see them again. there was a lot of interesting stuff in this episode. also, i love seeing tla characters acting the same as they were as kids, reassuring us they didnt all just grow into stiff and lifeless adults.and one last thing.. was that bosco i saw still alive? he was in the throne room with mako and annoying prince dude.. but - he wasnt moving.. at all. ;_;I think you mean episode 3.
And apparently you can't watch this episode in Canada. Well then.You should put all contents of the blog that aren't a link to the episode inside of a spoiler tag. I dunno about others, but literally anything about the episode before I've seen it is a spoiler to me. "TOPH TOPH TOPH" on the front page of the site tells me before I watch the episode that we're going to see Toph, which is pretty spoilery.
Luckily I watched the episode before I saw this post, but I just don't want anything spoiled :/MOVING ONGood god this season is incredible so far. Toph is so badass now (even though she was before anyway). The fact that she now just spends her time watching over the world from the swamp is such a cool way for her character to end up. That, and shes just beyond baller with her earthbending now. Clearly the best earthbender who has ever lived.As for the rest of the plot, Kuvira is cray, but I honestly just don't care about the prince guy. He obviously doesn't deserve the throne, and Kuvira makes the same point that all of the previous bad guys in Korra have made: We need to rethink how we govern the world now that times are changing.Its similar to how people see the Bible as archaic and in need of change, or how people see the Bill of Rights as archaic and from a time before we made a lot of scientific progress. She drives a good point, but her idea of a better world also just seems like a world she rules, so while she has a decent point, her execution isn't quite great (still, better than going around assassinating all the world leaders).There. I fixed the episode number and added a spoilers warning on the title itself. Now we can talk about everything!
I'm pretty sure that was a statue since that restaurant was supposed to be modeled after the royal palace.I loved seeing the twins again, and until Eska said Desna sleeps in the tub, I was pretty concerned there for a moment. lolI'm pretty sure Toph realized she hated being a stick in the mud police chief, so she decided to have fun like she used to and travel the world. This makes me happy. :PAwww, shooot.
