Well now I had a look at the site and I have to say the community looks very friendly and structured, I was never really involved with the community till now that is. Always a good reason to start ranting and raving about random stuff you encounter while making your own game and then post it on the net :D.

The blogs on this site for now will be centered around the creation of the game my wife and I are going to enter into the RPG4D 2012 Comp starting on the 1st of May, this will be our first RPG and I hope we make a great success of it :).

Well till later got some planning to do and Coffey to drink lol :P.

Ps. If you where wondering the DigiMecha logo is for my site I'm currently working on and will be using for main post about all the games I have made and will be making in the future.

I've certainly seen both sides of the spectrum. If raised around each other, many animals can learn to like each other. My champagne lab was pretty good when an adult female cat was introduced to him, but she wasn't. But when she had kittens, both the dog and the cats liked each other when they grew up.

Introducing the ferret was fine for my dog, but the ferret didn't really like him even after years. And the ferret was fine with the rat, too. But that didn't stop him from eating it. So while I agree that there are more factors than instincts that play into these sorts of things, I don't necessarily think all other factors can replace instincts with all animals.

I hope nobody here got the impression that I hate ferrets. Because I don't. I love them.

This is actually quite interesting, I wonder if what make animals, or people even, have such distinct, opposing personalities within the same species is what each prioritizes: instinct, upbringing, or temperament. And of course all of these things affect each other as well.
