Wow I haven't posted here in a while, have draw

Been busy with stuff and shit, have some draws I've done in the past year

Thor-inspired dress design, mainly based on his movie outfit but I've been told it has a Thrymskvitha (for those of you don't know, it's that time when the frost giants stole Thor's hammer and Thor had to pretend to be Freya in a wedding dress to get it back) feel to it

So yeah

Thor:

Edward Kenway

Got finalist for an Assassin's Creed official contest with this

Whoo:

Assassin!Thor

I like Assassin's Creed

I like Thor

I like doing design work

this is what happened:

I have more stuff but they're mostly of the doodles variety so I'll just link to my art tumblr for that

you've reminded me that i actually need to fully play through AC: Black Flag.

played some of it, but was mostly watching my brother play through it. i was genuinely surprised at how much better it was than AC3

also, great art

I actually haven't played AC4 yet; The pic was for a contest by Ubi that was prior to AC4's release so

I plan on getting it when it's a bit cheaper on steam, can't afford $60 games sadly :c

Wow, great job! I have to say I really like the third one. I'm not a big fan of Thor or Assassins Creed, but that design looks awesome :D. Just wondering, how do you create these? Are they done in real life, or is there some software for it? My sisters trying to start doing these sort of drawings but doesn't know where to start so it would be great to know :).

I use Photoshop CS6, but it requires money to get…legitimately. If she wants some free options without resorting to less legit means, FireAlpaca or Gimp would be good places to start. I also have a drawing tablet, that allows me to draw directly on to a computer with a stylus as if it were paper. It's a good investment if she's serious about digital art. Wacom's the most reliable and used by professionals (I use a Wacom Intuos 3), but if you want a cheaper one, Monoprice I heard has pretty decent ones for its pricing.
