I started school on Monday. Yes, August isn't even over and I'm stuck back in high school for my final year there. I went to the bus stop and met up with the other kid in my grade (I can't really say he's a friend, since he kinda hates everything in the world and wants to send me into his hobo army program for taking over Europe, but that's another story). He made a comment about "enjoying the last 4 minutes of summer", which I don't even want to imagine would be for him. The bus came and was overcrowded as usual. Thankfully since I'm a big bad senior the little freshman won't dare to ask me to move so we can go 3 in the seat. We get to the school and fast forward 7 hours I decide my classes aren't THAT bad (my schedule was a bitch to throw together, again it's another story). So I'm out looking for my bus, right, and I realize I forget what number it is. I also realize it doesn't matter because THE STUPID IDIOTS IN THE OFFICE NEVER ANNOUNCED WHERE THE BUSES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE. I ended up walking home with Herooftime and his sister (kinda).
Day 2, I go to my every other day classes I didn't start and those were ok. Fast forward 7 hours again and once again I do not know where my bus is. Ok, I thought, I can figure it out. Last year it was 43, so maybe just changed number and not location. So, I decide to ask one of the guys on my bus last year. He directs me to bus 2, which is where I would expect it to be. I get on and fast forward 40 minutes find out that my bus is NOT 2. I end up at the Jennings Transportation office where the buses are parked and have a little discussion with some of the people there. I found out my bus is actually 25 and at the end of the day it's ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SCHOOL. Hurrah <.< . Someone takes me home and again I'm home late. Apparently they had found out the high school didn't tell students about the bus locations, there were a lot of people who had to walk/get a ride home as well. This was the third day today and I had my first quiz (French), I made it on the correct bus this time, but the office has yet to say anything about the buses. I'm wondering how long they're gonna let this go.Oh, and there are little over 1600 students in the school. One of the hallways is being renovated (the power technology deparment aka woodshop/engineering/metalshop/etc), so there are only 1500 lockers available right now. Interesting. Also, our assisant principal from last year is now our principal (he's the guy you want to meet if you ever need to get out of detention ;) ) and the person to replace him won't be around for like another week. More suspense. Speaking of TV show related themes, I was watching Mary during lunch in the Senior Center yesterday and apparently there are people in this world who have a VIOLENT fear of the following: mustard, peaches, birds, and pickles. How the hell? I guess SOMEONE isn't going to McDonalds anytime soon lol. (Running to random audience member: "Take her, take her not me!" in reaction to a plate of mustard)Enough ranting and making an idiot out of myself for 1 day.
